The Flutopia Initiative, flutists inspiring musicians to change the world one concert at a time, is a charitable organization working under the non-profit umbrella of Public Health Matters International. The Flutopia 5k!, the most musical 5k in town, features 8-10 stations of some of the area’s finest musicians performing for participants along the route. Flutists, drummers, bell ringers, brass players, singers, a jazz combo and a fiddler are among the musicians that have inspired participants during past events. The race’s primary beneficiary is Centre Volunteers in Medicine and its patients. Additional support has been provided internationally for Doctors Without Borders, as well as educational support for young music students in Antigua, Guatemala and Port au Prince, Haiti.

Day of Race Walk-up Registration Donations of $25 will be handled at Pavilion 3 next to the tennis courts and starting line from 7:15-7:45am.

Restrooms, refreshments and awards will be at the Main Pavilion near the Finish Line.

The Flutastic 50 yard Dash will be held in the baseball field in front of the Main Pavilion.

Applauding for the musicians along the route is totally acceptable!
