Cancelled due to Pending Winter Storm
(Norfolk, NE) The Nebraska Association of Resources Districts Foundations annual 5K Run, 1
Mile Walk and Kids Dash set for Saturday, April 14, 2018 on the Cowboy Trail in Norfolk has
been cancelled due to the expected snow storm.
The Nebraska Association of Resources Districts (NARD) and the Lower Elkhorn NRD urge
residents to take all necessary precautions to stay safe during the expected storm event.
In lieu of the event, the NARD Foundation will donate to the Norfolk Rescue Mission.
PROCEEDS: To Benefit the Nebraska Natural Resources Districts Foundation
The Foundation was established as a way to support students with a desire to enter the field of natural resources. Money raised will help provide scholarships, internships and support for high school students to continue their education in natural resources.
