Runners, walkers, and defenders of exploited children everywhere... come join us as we “Race to Stop Traffick,” Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 7:30 a.m. at the Terrace in Westlake, Texas. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit Operation Underground Railroad (www.OURrescue.org), a non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue and rehabilitate children sold into sex slavery in the U.S. and around the world. There will be a 1-Mile Fun Run as well as an officially timed 5k race. Participants, including families and kids, are welcome to take part in finish line festivities such as a Halloween costume contest, carnival games, face painting, live music, and a raffle booth. The course will begin at the Terrace business complex in the city of Westlake and continue along a winding course through lush greenery and some of the nicest homes in the Metroplex. Disposable timing chips will be provided by Chip-2-Chip Race Timing. T-shirts will be given to every participant and prizes awarded to the top finishers in each category.

5K and Fun Run Registration includes:

  • Funding the next Rescue Mission

You can choose to complete your Virtual Run on October 21st when the Race to Stop Traffick will be held, or any other day in October that is convenient for you. Your race bib will be mailed to the address you provide. Optional t-shirts will be mailed after the race has taken place.
