About the Lion's Club:
Community Volunteer Work That Makes A DifferenceAs a service club we strive to improve the lives of those in need.The Forney Lions Club is constantly working on new projects to help improve our local community. We're always looking for new fresh ideas for local projects or fundraiser that will help the people of Forney and the surrounding area. Come join the Forney Lions Club and be a part of helping those in need.The Forney Lions has a dynamic history, founded in 1978, we are best known for fighting blindness - it’s part of our history as well as our work today. But we also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects including scholarships for Forney students, food assistance and helping seniors and the disabled.Lions give sight. By conducting eye exams at our area elementary schools, distributing eye glasses to those who can’t afford them and helping to raise awareness of eye disease. Forney Lions work toward our mission of providing vision for all who are in need. We have extended our commitment to sight conservation through local efforts which works to eradicate blindness.Lions also serve our youth. Our community projects often support local children and schools through mentoring, hands on experience and leadership. Our Leo Program provides personal development through youth volunteer opportunities. There are approximately 144,000 Leos and 5,700 Leo Clubs in more than 140 countries worldwide.

Registration: 6:30 a.m.
Fun Run: 7:30 a.m.
5K: 8:00 a.m.
Awards: 9:00 a.m.

1st M & F Winner in each of the following age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69; 70+

Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards. No duplicate awards given.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will be the day of the Event only.
