About The Event |
7th and 8th grade girls at the Washington International Academy are planning to host a 5K run on November 8, 2015. Three years ago, our beloved Quran teacher passed away. We knew her as a person who spent her time helping others. In order to continue her legacy, we devised a plan to raise money as Sadaqa Jariyah for a charitable organization. Last year ,we raised $2400 for orphans in Bangladesh. Please visit our website at wia5k.weebly.com to find out more information about the organization or our cause.

Begins at 10:00 A.M.

Course Information |
The younger kids, with an adult, will begin their run circling around the WIA parking lot, completing a mile. Others will continue on in the neighborhood. Please do not drop off children without supervision.

T-Shirts |
T-Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by November 3rd. If registered afterwards, T-Shirts will be available, but not guaranteed at the day of the event.
