On March 1, 2017, our young and beautiful Mother and Grandmother, Connie VanDemark, lost her battle to Parkinson's. This year will be the most difficult for our family because we will be participating with her in spirit. For the past several years, this annual event has been one that our family (especially mom) has looked forward to for many months in advance. Connie LOVED to run! When Parkinson's took that from her, she enjoyed walking instead. This event was her favorite of the year! 2017 won't be the same without having mom there with us, but we know she would still want the "Connie's Crusaders" team to represent her in memory. Please support our team and help find a cure for Parkinson's.
