Indianapolis Sprint Triathlon #1

The Indianapolis Sprint Triathlon Series is a exciting short course event designed for both the experienced and beginner type. The distances are 500 meter swim, 10 mile bike and 3 mile run. Scenic Eagle Creek Park will host this event. Hurry and sign up as the event is limited to 600 individuals and 50 teams.

The event is located at Eagle Creek Park on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Parking is available just inside of Eagle Creek Park.

NOTE - If you sign up at least ONE WEEK in advance your entry fee pays for your parking into Eagle Creek! A parking pass will be sent to you VIA EMAIL before the event. If you sign up the last week - you will be required to pay the $5 entrance fee. For location map and further directions go to www.tuxbro.com

You may pick up your packet and register late (if event has not reached its limit) on Friday, June 13 at the Runners Forum Store located at 620 Station Drive, Carmel, IN 46032 from 5 to 8 PM. You may also pick up your packet at Eagle Creek site on event morning from 6:15 to 7:00AM.

Age groups are as follows: 14-17, 18-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34...75+ Also Clydesdale and Athena Division (males over 220# and females over 165#) - There is also a Fat Tire division for those wishing to use mountain bikes (wheels must be a minimum of 1.5 inches and have upright handlebars)

If you compete in the Fat Tire or Clydesdale/Athena you will not be eligible for age-group awards.

The top 3 overall finishers will receive separate awards. The top finishers (minimum of 3) in each age category will also receive nice awards. Awards will be presented immediately after the event has completed.

There are 3 divisions for Relay Teams (2 or 3 per team): All Male, All Female, and Co-ed. Relay teams compete in a relay format - one person swims, then one person bikes then one person runs. The top 3 in each division will receive awards - get a team and have some fun!
