5K Run

• Out-and-back course through the Christmas lights
  

• Open to both runners and walkers
  
• All ages welcome

• 5K and 1-Mile races start at 5:00 PM
  
• Course closes and car traffic opens at 6:00 PM
  

• Led by Charlie the Chigger!
  
• 1/4 mile: ages 6 and under
  
• 1/2 mile: ages 7 to 12
  
• All competing children will receive a medal
  
• Children's races start at 4:00 PM
  

Packet pickup is November 22nd, 8:30am - 6:00pm, Regional Park Office

Packets available for pick up day of race from 2:00 to 3:30 PM.

Race day registration 2:00-3:30 PM.

From I-35 North or South:
Take Exit 33 to Hwy 142 bypass.
Go east 1/4 mile on HWY 142.
Turn north into park.
Follow signs to pavilion.

Awards given for 5K, 1 Mile and Children's Runs

• Top three males and females in all races
  
• Top three males and females in each division in the 5K (5 year USATF age divisions)
  

Participants registered by November 13th at 5:00 PM will receive a commemorative shirt.
Participants who register after November 13th are not guaranteed a shirt.

Our t-shirt sizes this year will be 5k and 1 mile men's s,m,l,xl, xxl (extra $2) women's s,m,l,xl

Children's t-shirts will be youth small, youth medium, youth large, & youth extra-large

Note: We do not guarantee sizes or cut of shirts. Due to the increase in numbers over the past few years, it's become impossible to predict sizes for our shirts. We do our best to fulfill the orders. Thank you for your understanding as we continually strive to improve upon the Chigger Chase each year.

• Southern Oklahoma Ambulance Service will provide emergency assistance and aid.
  
• Water will be provided at the end of the race.
  
• The park will be closed to vehicle traffic during the race.
  
• Exclusions by the insurance underwriter prohibit audio headsets, baby strollers, baby joggers, roller skates, roller blades, skateboards and bicycles.
  
• Dogs or other animals are NOT allowed on any of the courses.
  
• Motorized wheelchairs are not allowed in the run.
