ORGANIZED BY:
Seaton Volunteer Fire Department and Aledo Fire Protection District.
WHEN & WHERE:
Saturday, April 19th, 2014, Start time: 8 AM (Waves will be every 20 minutes), Gates open at 7:15 AM at Hofmann Farms (north of Aledo) 1521 200th St. Aledo, IL
COURSE:
A challenging mud/obstacle course, 6-7 miles in length. It will test people's ability to overcome their fears while encouraging teamwork and camaraderie.
OBSTACLES:
Up to 17 mentally and physically challenging obstacles (see below)
ENTRY FEES & REGISTRATION:
$65 if registered before October 2nd, 2013
$80 registration October 2nd, 2013 through February 1, 2014
$95 registration February 1 through April 1, 2014
$110.00 registration April 2, 2014 through the day of the event
(limited space available).
PARKING:
Designated parking areas will be set up with transportation to and from event site. Cost will be $5.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
All of this will be provided free of charge: bag check, changing tents, SWAG bag including dry-fit shirt, water bottle, silicone wristband, window sticker and more. Spectator's welcome with $5 entry fee and course maps will be provided.
Obstacles |
- Stop, Drop and Crawl: Mud crawl under barbed wire
- Fire Walls: 8-10' walls that will probably take teamwork to climb
- Live Lines: Sends shocks through runners when they touch the hanging lines
- Drop Tank: 22' dumpster filled with ice water; each runner goes through submerging themselves at the halfway point
- Firemen's Carry: Runners will put on a fire coat and carry a sandbag around a loop before placing coat and sandbag back in pile
- HAZ MAT Hills: Runners will run over and through muddy hills and bogs; runners use rings to swing across a water pit
[*]Decontamination: Runners will be sprayed by fire hose while trying to climb the muddy incline
