The Event |
The CASA Superhero series raises awareness and funds to ensure that someday, every abused or neglected child in Rockwall and Kaufman counties will have a Superhero CASA volunteer. Race activities include costume contests, a children's area, awards ceremony, food and drinks. The Lone Star CASA Superhero 5K/Fun Run and SUPER DASH is sponsored and supported by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas and Texas CASA.
Proceeds from the 5K event benefit the Lone Star CASA program in their efforts to recruit and train CASA volunteers to give a "voice" to abused and neglected children in court and the foster care system.
