The BlueMile Training Program is designed to help people of all levels of experience and ability complete a distance of his or he choice. Most of our fall training participants will be training for a half or full marathon, but we'll have people training for shorter distances, too!
Beginning June 15 we'll be training from our Carmel and Broad Ripple stores, with most of our training on the Monon Trail. Sometimes we'll take field trips to local parks to change the training routes and to find some hills!
We offer programs for walkers and beginner, intermediate, and advanced runners, and we'll help you decide which program is right for you.
Don't be intimidated! Our program is for everyone, and our staff is committed to supporting each participant in his or her journey to success--whatever your goal!
A diverse group of participants ensures that you will find compatible training partners. Thousands of people have found success with our training programs because we keep it simple and fun!
The BlueMile training program is designed to suit your level of fitness and experience. We recommend you be able to walk or run about 30 minutes or 2 miles to begin the training program.
We'll teach you how to train, and also about the little things that make for a successful race. How to drink, what to wear, what to eat, and how to pace yourself.
