FULL REQUIREMENT OF INSURANCE
The City has purchased an Excess liability policy that will now cover vendors/exhibitors for $4,000,000.00 in liability coverage. All vendors and exhibitors will be subject to the below rates, unless they carry their own liability insurance coverage that meets the City's requirements of $2,308,400.00.
The City originally purchased General liability insurance in 2010, with an aggregate of $2,000,00 in coverage. This general liability policy worked for most vendors/exhibitors that carried their own liability insurance, but still left out several vendors/exhibitors who have no insurance.
In order to make it possible for all vendors to participate in City events, the City recreation division requested that we find insurance coverage for all vendors/exhibitors.
New Rates Effective August 1, 2011
o Exhibitor - No Sales = $95.00 Per Day
o Non Food Sales = $165.00 Per Day
o Food Sales = $200.00 Per Day
o Performers = $350.00 Per Day
Remember There Are Exclusions:
o Amusement Devices
o Inflatable's
o Climbing Walls
o Laser Tag
o Rap, Hip Hop, Heavy Metal, Music
o Fireworks
THE ONLY EXCEPTION
Vendors that are not selling anything and/or are handing out ONLY information or have display booths only, the insurance requirement will be waived
