Bolt for the Heart - Thanksgiving Day Family Run/ Walk Timed 3.33 miles
Thursday, 11/28/2013 - 8:45am
Sponsored by IU North Hospital and Marsh, the run/walk starts at the Carmel Palladium's Center Green at 8:45 a.m., with day-of registration and check in beginning at 7:30 a.m.
Participants may register on line at www.boltfortheheart.com and may pick up their packets the day before the run (Wednesday 11/27) between 12 - 7 p.m. at the Runner's Forum in Carmel.
Cost to participate in the event is $20 per runner before October 1st, 2013 and $25 per runner after October 1st, 2013 (add $15 for Asic White long sleeve high performance shirt available to the first 1000 registered)
First 750 that registered receive a free pair of cotton running gloves.
All proceeds from the Bolt for the Heart Race will go to buying Life Saving Automated External Defibrillators (AED's) and donated to central Indiana organizations in need.
Come dressed in your best Thanksgiving costume (Pilgrim, Turkey etc.) Award prizes for top three individuals and top group/family over three people.
All Children under 12 will be registered for a Prize giveaways.

Packet Pick Up |
Wednesday 11/27 from 12:00-7:00pm at Runners Forum in Carmel (620 Station Drive)
Thursday 11/28 from 7:30-8:30a at Center Green by the Palladium.
In person registration will be available at packet pick up for $30.

Parking |
Parking for the event is available in at the James Building (Tarkington Theater), the Mohawk Place Shopping Center and at the United Methodist Church on Rangeline Road.

Benefactor |
Benefiting Heart Reach Carmel for the placement of life saving AED's (automated external defibrillators) in Central Indiana in an effort to save people who experience sudden cardiac arrest.

Food for the local food bank |
Bolt for the Heart is also helping raise one ton of food for a local food bank. Runners can bring non-perishable food items when they pick up their race packet at Runners Forum on Wednesday 11/27 noon - 7pm or they can drop it off at the registration tent on race morning.
