Prader-Willi Syndrome On The Move 5K

Prader-Willi Syndrome Association of Indiana is an organization of families and professionals working together to promote and fund research, provide education, advocate and offer support to enhance the quality of life of those affected by Prader-Willi syndrome.
Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is the most common known genetic cause of life-threatening obesity in children of all times. Funds raised at our On the Move event go to PWSA(USA) and PWSA of Indiana. Because of our past On the Move fundraisers we were able to bring top PWS experts to Indiana for a 1 day conference. We have also offered scholarships to our Indiana PWS families to attend the national conference in Florida. This year, we are offering scholarships to a weeklong PWS only camp at Wonderland Camp on the Lakes of the Ozarks in Rocky Mount, Missouri.

Registration and Packet Pick Up

Event will take place out of Reddick Shelter inside of Fort Harrison State Park (look for signs once in the park). There is a $5.00 per vehicle fee to enter the park.

Late registration and packet pick up will be from 8:30AM until 9:45AM at the Reddick Shelter. The 5K event will begin at 10:00AM. The 1-Mile Family walk will start just after the 5K.

Awards/Post Race

The top finishers (male and female) will get awards (no age group awards).

We will have music, face painting, a bounce house, and games. After the race, Boomer from the Pacers will be there to visit with everyone!
