The Howard County Police Pace 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk are both within beautiful Centennial Park located off Route 108 in Columbia, Maryland. Begins on the roadway near the concession stand at Centennial Park.
The 22nd Annual Howard County Police Pace 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Walk & Run is sponsored by the Howard County Police Foundation.
This year's event features Under Amour t-shirts!
The Race Start Time is 8:30 AM.
Proceeds from this years' event benefit a number of charitable initiatives supported by the Howard County Police Foundation. These initiatives include a college scholarship program to honor the supreme sacrifice made by officers who give their lives in the line of duty protecting the citizens of Howard County that ensures that the children of our fallen guardians can receive a good education. The Foundation also offers two yearly educational scholarships, one for a Howard County High School senior, and one for the child of a Howard County police officer who is a senior.

Individual registration for either the 5K or the 1 Mile Fun Walk & Run includes entry, an Under Armour t-shirt, great food, and the opportunity to win performance awards and fantastic random prizes.
Family registration includes entry for up to four immediate family members living in the same household, two (2) event t-shirts, food for two entrants, and the opportunity for all registered family members to win performance awards and fantastic random prizes. Extra food tickets will be available for additional family members for only $5.00 at packet pick-up and event day.
All participants registered by September 2, 2013, are guaranteed to receive an Under Amour t-shirt. T-shirts should be available but are not guaranteed to those who register after September 2, 2013. Registration packets not picked up by event day will be forfeited.
