In celebration of 70 years of made in Indiana quality, the Red Gold Premium Tomato Company is hosting the first Annual Red Gold Run to Crush Hunger 5K. It will be held at Callaway Park in Elwood on Saturday, October, 13th at 9:00 a.m.

Red Gold is passionate about helping local communities and feels that with your support we will be able to affect many lives. All proceeds from the race will go to Second Harvest Food Bank and the Morrisett Center Food Pantry to help with the fight against hunger in Indiana.

The event will consist of a 5K run/walk and also a 1-mile family walk. All participants will receive a nice shirt, bib, goodie bag and post-race refreshments. After finishing this event, we hope that you'll attend the annual Red Gold Chili Cook-Off in downtown Elwood!

* Competitive/ Non-Competitive: $22.00 (receive goodie bag & t-shirt)
Day of Registration: $25.00
* Family Rate (up to 4): $20.00 for first member, $15.00 per family member after (receives goodie bags & t-shirts)
* Group Rate (for 5 or more): $15.00 per member (promote this to local school corporations) (receives goodie bags & t-shirts)
* 1 Mile Course: $15.00 per person (receive goodie bag & t-shirt), age 8 and under are free 1
Mile Course will be located next to Calloway Park, geared towards women with younger children or strollers
* $8.00 for extra t-shirts (denote on the registration form)
* Registration Forms will have a spot to denote what School Corporation you represent (Elementary, Middle School, or High School)- this would be for any runner/walker that is participating.

The 5K course will start and finish at Callaway Park in Elwood, IN. The course will go thru the downtown area next to the Red Gold Chili Cook-Off location before heading back to the park. Expect a mostly flat course with a water station located mid-way.

You may pick your materials (shirt, bib, packet) on Saturday, October 13 at Callaway Park from 7:30 am to 8:45 am. You may also sign up for the event at this time.

The overall winner (male and female) will receive a trophy and a one-year supply of Red Gold Tomato Products!

Age group winners will also receive awards (5K only). Age groups will be: 10 under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29… 70+

Top School Participation Prize: The school that has the most participants will receive a Red Gold and Indianapolis "Colts in Motion" visit to their school. Be sure to list the school that you represent when you enter this event.
