Course
The race begins and ends at the Springfield First Church of the Nazarene, located at 5200 S. Sixth Street Frontage Road in Springfield, IL.
Beginning promptly at 7 pm. the race will begin at the Springfield First Church of the Nazarene and will make a left on Southwind Drive, heading towards the new Southwind Park, circle through the park and then return to the church for the finish.
This is a pet-friendly event! Dogs are welcome to run or walk with their owners in the race! For the courtesy and safety of others, please run with your dog on a leash.

- Male and Female, 1st - 3rd overall runners and walkers will receive trophies.
Age groups
- Male and Female, 1st - 2nd will receive medals.
- 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up.
Teams - All teams must register prior to the race with minimum of 4 participants[ulist]

Donations |
All proceeds benefit the Hope Institute. You have the opportunity to make an additional donation to the Hope Institute when you register online or on the day of the race.
Dogs and their owners may donate money or other items to needy animals with the Animal Protective League (APL).

From I-55, take Exit 90 (Toronto Road).
Turn east on Toronto Road to Frontage Road;
Turn north (left) on Frontage Road.
Proceed one mile.
