Whatever age you are on December 31st, 2008, will be the age group you will compete in on race day.
This rule will apply to all United States Triathlon Sanctioned Races moving forward. Just to be clear, if you are 29 years old on June 16th, but 30 on November 29, you will be racing in the 30 to 34 age group.
