Drew's Faithful Feet Charity 5k Run/Walk

Packet Pick-Up and Late Registration will occur at St. Malachy Catholic Church at the following dates and times:
* Friday, May 11 from 4 - 7 pm
* Race Day, May 12 from 7 - 8 am

Race Day Schedule:
* 5K Run starts at 8:30 am
* Kid's Fun Run starts at 9:30 am
* 200 Yard Kids' Dash starts at 9:45 am

Post-Race Food and Entertainment

All events begin and end in front of St. Malachy Church

5K: Participants will weave through the city streets and jogging paths of northern Geneseo - roundtrip course

1/2 Mile Kid's Run: Kids will run/walk along a jogging path - out and back course (limited to participants 12 years of age and under)

200 Yard Kid's Dash: Kids will run through a coned off course on the St. Malachy's property (limited to participants 6 years of age and under)

Awards for 5k: 1st place overall, male & female; 1st place male and female in each age group: Under 10, 10 - 14, 15 - 29, 30 - 45, 46 - 60, 61+

Awards to the 1st place Mother-Daughter team and Mother-Son team

Baby Drew Schaaf passed away suddenly on July 11th 2010, just 2 1/2 weeks after he was born. Although his time on this earth was brief, the positive impact he had on the lives of so many was profound. Through his life and through his passing, Drew reminded all who knew him just how precious and special life is. And so, Drew's Faithful Feet is meant to be a celebration of life . . . of Drew's life . . . of all life. Drew's actual footprints are the symbol of this event, and they will rest over the hearts of all participants at the race. All proceeds from the race will be donated in Drew Schaaf's name to support and benefit mothers and children in need.
