Why My First Baseball Training Camp: |
It is important for your child to have a challenging and positive experience when beginning to play sports. It is also important for him or her to begin developing good habits that they can build on and begin feeling confident about from the start. My First Baseball Training Camp is designed for the parent who wants a more advanced, challenging, yet fun environment for their child to learn the game of baseball. My First Baseball Training Camp will teach good habits so your child starts building a strong foundation of confidence and skill.
My First Baseball Training Camp is a five session program. Each session will be 90 minutes. The First 45 minutes the focus will be on skill work and fundamentals. Each player will go through a structured list of basic activities designed appropriately for the age group. Beginning throwing, catching, fielding, footwork, hitting fundamentals, footwork, game knowledge, sportsmanship, and teamwork will all be introduced. Some position specific drills will be introduced as well. Each of the drills and activities will be challenging and fun. There will then be a break. During the final period the kids will play a structured game where the emphasis will be put on learning proper offensive and defensive game fundamentals.
The main goal of My First Baseball Training Camp is to start your child having a great time learning the great game of baseball. Although the league will be challenging, your child will have fun learning important fundamentals and team-work skills that are valuable habits for anything they begin playing. Once your child develops these positive habits a solid foundation will be built that can be added to for years to come.
