Legacy Loop 5K Run/Walk

The Legacy Loop 5K Run/Walk is a fan event of the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl. Created to showcase many of the development and restoration projects that have taken place on Indianapolis' Near Eastside, the Legacy Loop 5K Run/Walk will be one of the opening events to the Super Bowl XLVI festivities. The event starts and finishes at Arsenal Technical High School and participants will run past homes, a community center and commercial buildings renovated as part of the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl's legacy. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in different age groups. There will also be a scavenger hunt along the route. If you find a football, you'll win a prize! Proceeds will benefit the ongoing Near Eastside Super Bowl Legacy Project.

After the race, be sure to check out the free HealthBowl inside the gyms of Arsenal Technical High School. HealthBowl is an interactive health fair from 9a.m. to 2p.m. that will have NFL players, fun fitness activities, health screenings and much more.

Onsite registration will take place in the West Gym at Arsenal Technical High School. Parking will be available at a first come basis in the Tech High School parking lot off Oriental Street. Additional street parking will be available on the surrounding streets, but carpooling is highly recommended.

Pre-event Packet Pick- up will take place from noon-5p.m. at the Indianapolis City Market (222 East Market Street) on Friday, January 27. It's highly recommended that pre-registered participants pick up their packets on Friday to avoid waiting in lines before the event.
Packet Pick-Up on event day will take place in the West Gym at Arsenal Technical High School from 7:30a.m.-8:55a.m. on Saturday, January 28th.
NOTE - Shirts and goodie bags are VERY LIMITED to those that register on site either Friday or Saturday.
