* Prize for the top individual who raises the most money
* Prizes for the top teams in the following categories for raising the most money

• Fraternities
  
• Sororities
  
• Drake University Sports teams
  
• Drake University Law School Sections
  
• High School Teams
  
• Undergraduate Teams
  
• Any other teams that don't fit into one of the above categories.
  

* There will also be prizes for the same categories as above but for the highest average money raised per person.
* There will be raffles throughout the night.

Registration and packet pick-up will be from 10 am until noon February 18th, 2012 at Parents Hall in the Olmsted Center at Drake University (where the Belize Dance Marathon will be taking place).

What is the Belize Dance Marathon?
Belize Dance Marathon (BMD) is a fundraising event for the James Arthur Albert Foundation where dancers will raise money for Belize and will attend a 4 hour dance party in February.

How do I raise money?
The BDM will help you every step of the way. We have a Dancer Relations Committee whose only job is to help you out and make sure you are able to reach your goal. They will provide you with many fundraising ideas, including letters and e-mails that you will be able to send to all of your friends and family. We are here to help you on this.

I don't like to dance. Would I still have fun at the Belize Dance Marathon?
Yes. There will be many things going on at the BDM besides dancing on the dance floor. There will be many types of entertainment at this event ranging from games to concerts. As long as you like to have fun you'll have a good time at the BDM.

Do I need to bring anything with me?
All you need to bring is a good attitude. Area restaurants will be providing meals as well as snacks and drinks which will be available throughout the night.
