Dress for Success Clothing Drive

The mission of Dress for Success, a not-for-profit organization, is to advance low-income women's economic and social development and to encourage self-sufficiency through career development and employment retention. Dress for Success responds to the needs of our communities by providing programs that help economically disadvantaged women acquire jobs, retain their new positions and succeed in the mainstream workplace. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and a week's worth of separates when she gets the job. Women then receive ongoing support to help build a successful career.

Fleet Feet Sports/Lady Distance Classic is a proud partner with Dress for Success. As part of the 2007 event, we are coordinating a clothing drive. We encourage each race participant to participate by bringing donated items (can also include: jewelry, purses, scarves, dress shoes, etc.) to Fleet Feet Sports on August 1or 2. All items should be gently used or new. Each participant who makes a donation will receive 20% off of any Brooks Apparel Purchase and/or 10% off of any Brooks Footwear purchase.
