Sponsor-A-Champ |
In the 19th running of the Autumn Classic, fitness and Special Olympics advocates, Bobby Crim and Playmakers, invite you to join in supporting the 5th Annual "Sponsor A-Champ" campaign for Special Olympics Michigan Area 8. Through this joint effort, our 2011 goal is to raise $30,000 and sponsor 200 Ingham and Eaton county Special Olympians - giving intellectually disabled individuals from 2 to 60+ the life-changing opportunity to train and compete in over 20 Olympic-style events.
Special Olympics Michigan-Area 8 is a volunteer, nonprofit organization which depends on the community for 100% of its funding. No fees are assessed to the athletes or their families for participation in the program. A donation of $150 to the "Sponsor-A-Champ" Campaign covers the training, equipment, uniforms, registration fees, transportation, facilities and health appraisals for one athlete for one season - but we are always grateful for any amount you are able to give!
Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donation and fundraising opportunities are listed below.
THANK YOU for making a difference in the lives of our special athletes!
