Our Mission |
The 3rd Annual Weston Wright 'Lighting the Way' benefits the San Antonio Lighthouse for the Blind High School-to-Work Transition Program for local high school students with blindness, visual impairment and/or other disabilities. The program prepares students ages 16 to 21 for the world of work by offering vocational and technology training, career guidance and basic life skills education. Although visually impaired youth and their sighted peers have similar hopes and dreams for a successful future, the prospects by many young people with vision loss are different than those of students that have no disabilities.
