About The Event |
Any Baby Can's Reaching Families Facing Autism program will be hosting the 7th Annual Walk for Autism. The walk will be April 16, 2011 at 8am and will take place at the AT&T Center. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness for the growing numbers of families in our community that have a child with autism. All proceeds from the walk will stay in San Antonio to help fund the services provided by the Reaching Families Facing Autism program.
The Reaching Families Facing Autism (RFFA) program provides parent education for those individuals that want to learn more about autism and their child's specific behaviors. Any Baby Can also provides the Reaching Families Facing Autism Support Group which provides monthly education and support for families with a child diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. Families also access individual and group counseling with a licensed psychologist. All of these valuable services are provide free of charge to families.
Your cooperation and assistance in the form of a donation is greatly appreciated and will go a long way to support families facing autism.
