The Course |
The USATF certified 5k (3.1 miles) starts and finishes on the Purple People Bridge in Newport, KY. To start, head north on the Bridge and turn left onto Butler Street in Cincinnati to enter Yeatman's Cove. Left under the Bridge and follow the Sawyer Point path in front of the pavilion, the tennis courts and the skating rink. Cross over into Friendship Park and follow the trail until it dead ends and return to the Purple People Bridge southbound by following back along the Sawyer Point Archeological Timeline Trail. Finish on the Purple People Bridge in KY.

Registration |
The CHASE is literally on at the Fox and Hound 5k….the "foxes" will start FIVE minutes ahead of the "hounds!" Other than that fun twist, the Fox and Hound is designed for runners and walkers of all levels….competitive runners, walkers, teams & families. And don't forget… the Bulldogs After-Party! If you aren't a runner or a walker, you can join us for the after-party only! There are many ways to support our goal of raising money for people with disabilities!

$30 Pre-registration fee - includes the Bulldogs After-Party, t-shirt and chip timing. Must be postmarked Friday, August 6, 2010.
$35 Race Day registration - includes Bulldogs After-Party, chip timing and t-shirts, if available.
$18 Bulldogs After-Party
Race Day registration begins at 6:00 PM
Packet Pick-up will take place at the UCP campus

Tuesday, August 17 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM
And
Thursday, August 19 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

UCP Impact Teams: Gather your friends, family & co-workers to raise EXTRA dollars for people with disabilities. Prizes will be awarded to the team that raises the most money, has the most team members and the team that has the most team members in the official race shirt!
Fox/Hound 5k Challenge: Sign up with your favorite person of the opposite sex to combine your time! The top 25 male/female teams will receive awards! Join the race to become the top Fox and Hound duo!
