Firecracker 5000

Be one of the first to celebrate the Fourth of July by participating in Seattle's only midnight race. Taking place on the streets of Seattle and finishing in the Seattle Center, this late-night 5k run and walk starts just before midnight and continues into the Fourth of July.

Schedule:
10:00 PM: Day of race registration ($40) and bib and chip pick up near start line.
11:55 PM: Race starts in Memorial Stadium (at the Seattle Center).
12:30 AM: Brief awards ceremony at the stage inside Memorial. Stadium. Enjoy music and refreshments after the run.

Awards:
Overall awards and random prizes to be given at the awards ceremony.

Limitations:
Unfortunately, due to the late hour of the event, there is no wheelchair division for the Firecracker 5000. All runners are encouraged to participate, but please understand the course will be open to vehicle traffic at 12:40 AM. Those still on the course at this time will need to move to the sidewalks. There are no pets allowed on the course.

The Firecracker 5000 will be electronically tag-timed. All participants must wear a tag to receive a time. There will be a $30 fee for any unreturned tags.
