About the Event and Race Course |
The Sportspectrum Tradition that will get everyone in the Christmas Spirit! Our unique four loop course (3.41 miles) takes you through, past, and amongst tens of thousands of Christmas Lights lining the course, lots of Christmas decorations, Christmas music, elves running amuck, and caroling groups.
The first 600 participants to register will be guaranteed an official 2009 Downtown Christmas Run Long Sleeve T-shirt.

Awards |
Overall winners and runner-up male and female for the 3.4 mile run will receive a $50.00 and $25.00 gift certificates, respectively to Sportspectrum. Overall winner, male and female, will receive special prizes.
Age group winner and runner-up will receive special prizes in the following age group categories: 17-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59,60-64, & 65 - above. Kids: 1-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15-16.

Under RRCA regulations, absolutely no baby joggers, strollers, bikes, skateboards, inline or roller skates will be allowed!

Costume Contest and Toys for Tots |
Costume Contest: 2 divisions: Adult and Kids. After the winners are chosen from the adults and kids divisions there will be a dramatic pose off and GREAT PRIZES!
We will be accepting donations of unwrapped gifts for Toys For Tots.
