Course is flat and meanders along the Trinity River Trail

Time Limit:
20 Mile - 5 Hours

Aid Stations:
Every 2 miles with water and sports drink, fruit and nutrition available at miles 6 and 14

Age Brackets:
Under 14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-9, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

Divisions:
Men's Open, Women's Open, Clydesdale (men over 220lbs), Athena (women over 150lbs)

The Honored Hero Run is a great tune up for the San Antonio Rock & Roll Marathon. The race course is flat and meanders along the Trinity River Trail. The average high temperature for the month of October is 63 degrees, presenting wonderful race conditions.

Runner's perks include a goody bag and T-shirt for all participants. Finisher's medals will be presented to all Half Marathon and 20 mile finishers. Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 men and women overall and the Top 3 in each division. There will be food, drinks, music, and an award ceremony following each race.

The Honored Hero Run benefits The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training, the world's largest endurance sports training program. The program provides training to run or walk marathons and half marathons, triathlons, and century (100-mile) bike rides. Since 1988, more than 380,000 volunteer participants have helped raise more than $950 million for blood-related cancer research.
