Event Day |
The Hawk Walk & Run starts and finishes in the southwest corner of Redmond Town Center on the Sammamish River trail, across Bear Creek Parkway at NE 74th St. Please no dogs, scooters, bicycles, rollerblades or skateboards.
8:00 AM: Race packets, including bib numbers and t-shirts, available for pick-up.
9:00 AM: 1-Mile
9:30 AM: 5k
10:45 AM: Awards

Parking |
Please park in the parking garage near the west entrance to Redmond Town Center. Signs will direct you to the start/finish line and parking locations.

1-Mile Course |
The one-mile walk/run is on the Sammamish River Trail along Bear Creek Parkway towards Larry's Market and back. All are encouraged to participate, but prizes for this event are awarded to kids 12 and under only.

5k Course |
The 5k run takes place on the Sammamish River Trail and continues north on the trail past Redmond City Hall and the NE 90th Street bridge. The turnaround is near the pedestrian bridge and is clearly marked. The 5k is a USATF certified course (cert#WA08019MW).

Post Race Celebration |
Enjoy complimentary food, festivities, kids' activities and a celebration sponsored by Redmond Businesses at the Redmond Saturday Market site.
5k Awards
- Top male and female finishers and top male and female masters will receive a pair of Brooks running shoes.
- Top male and female finishers ages 12 and under will receive a $50 gift certificate to Redmond Town Center.
- Awards will go to first male and female in the following age groups: 9-10, 11-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and better.
1-Mile Awards
Random Prize Drawing
A random prize drawing will be held for volunteers, children and adult participants registered for this event. Must be present to win.
