Distances - Age Groups

Ages 7 and 8:
Swim 50 yards - Bike 1.5 miles - Run 1/4 Mile.

Ages 9, 10, and 11:
Swim 100 yards - Bike 2.0 miles - Run 1/2 Mile.

Ages 12, 13 and 14:
Swim 200 yards - Bike 3.0 miles - Run 1 Mile.

USAT Sanctioned Event

Important Note:
For the results submitted to USA Triathlon, the child's age is based on their age as of 12/31/09.

~ USAT Membership is required for this event.
~ If you are not a current member, you will be able to purchase a 1-year youth membership ($5) during the registration process.

Packet Pick Up and Orientation Meeting (at YMCA)

Important Note: Please make every effort to pick up your packet on Friday night.

Mandatory Orientation Meeting:
All participants MUST attend a pre-race orientation with a parent or guardian. These will be held at 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM Friday (at Packet Pick Up) and 8:30 AM on race morning.

2008 Olympian, Jarrod Shoemaker, will be making a special appearance at the Kids Triathlon. In addition to autograph and photo opportunities, Jarrod will be announcing the Grand Prize and Runner Up Winners.
