~ Individual awards will be given to the top male and female overall in the 5K Run.
~ Individual awards will be given to the top male & female in each of the following categories: DU Undergrads; DU Grad Students; DU Faculty/Staff; Non-DU under 18; Non-DU Adults; Non-DU Masters (50+)
~ A Team Spirit Award will be given to the group with the largest number of participants.

The University of Denver (DU) Winter Carnival Committee is happy to announce the Tenth Annual Polar Bear Run, with all proceeds benefiting the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
Each entrant receives a long sleeved t-shirt, a LIVESTRONG wristband, and post event refreshments provided by our sponsors. We invite you to participate in this fun and exciting event. Don't forget to dress warm!

Directions |
Washington Park, Denver, CO. From I-25, take the University exit southbound. Make an immediate right turn onto Buchtel. Go north over the Franklin bridge and this will take you to the park. You will want to park at South High School. The starting line is across Louisiana in the southeast section of Washington Park.
