Race Day Schedule |
7:00 - 8:00 AM: Registration opens. Late registration and packet pick up. 15k, 5k and 1 mile participants to pick up run number, t-shirt, and packet. 5k runners will receive their ChampionChip.
7:45 AM: Pre-race warm up
8:00 AM: 1 mile fun run to begin
8:30 AM: 15k training run and 5k competitive race to begin
9:00 AM: Great pumpkin party and haircuts
9:30 AM: 5k awards
10:00 AM: 15k awards

15k Training Run |
Opportunity to train for your upcoming marathon or half-marathon. Course will take runners completely around White Rock Lake.

5k Competitive Race |
Whether running, walking, or jogging, the 5k Competitive Race is a timed event in which participants are treated to scenic views and trails of White Rock Lake.

1 Mile Fun Run |
Children of all abilities and/or with special needs are encouraged to participate. Each child participant will receive a medal and a water bottle after crossing the finish line.

|
Haircuts |
Start growing your hair out now in order to receive a free haircut on race day! All hair will be donated to make wigs for young cancer patients. Hair donations must be at least 10 inches measured from tip to tip. Layered hair and permed or colored hair is also accepted. For a complete list of guidelines for hair donations, please visit www.childrenscancerfund.net. Haircuts are generously sponsored by Llongueras Barcelona and Michael Posy-Erin McCall Hair Design.

ChampionChip Timing |
The 15k and the 5k will use the computerized ChampionChip timing system. Chips will be available for pick-up race-day morning. To avoid a $25 fee for unreturned chips, please turn in your chip immediately after the race.

Awards |
Trophies will be awarded to the overall male/female winners in the 5k and the 15k in each age category:
19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
All finishers of the 1 Mile Fun Run will receive a medal.

The Pumpkin Party |
Celebrate your success and the success of the Children's Cancer Fund! Enjoy a variety of health vendors which will be on the campus, live entertainment, food, drinks, massages, coffee and kids activities.
