Davenport Youth Basketball - 3rd Grade Boys & Girls (for individuals)

Davenport Youth Basketball is a program for 3rd grade individuals to develop important basketball fundamental skills and game knowledge through a combination of challenging practices and live games. Practices will be demanding as well as fun. Games will be played with no restrictions other than the normal rules of basketball.

Emphasize doing your best, attitude, hard work, game knowledge, skill development, leadership, teamwork, discipline, and community.

Open to 3rd grade boys and girls regardless of the school attending.
There will be boys and girls teams formed. Space is limited to 40 boys and 40 girls.

Practices beginning week of October 13th, 2009.

League games are Thursday afternoons November 6th to December 18th, 2008 (6 dates).

Times: Games played 4:30, 5:20, 6:10, 7:00 pPM (depending on team numbers).

Cost also includes team entry in 3rd grade division of the 3rd Annual Field House Shoot-out tournament at Beyond The Baseline January 30th to Feb 1st, 2009.

~ (9) games (both from Thursday league and Field House Shoot-out tournament).
~ (20) challenging practice opportunities between October and January
~ Other league and tournament opportunities may arise (additional cost for participants).

$72.00: plus reversible shirt & shorts cost.
