Rotary Resolution Run 2009

Come join in the fun at the "world famous" Resolution Run celebration. There will be great live music and entertainment for all participants, guests, and family INSIDE the Addison Conference Centre!

Have some fun without breaking your New Year's resolution! There will be plenty for all to do. Lots of food, beverages (including beer), fresh pizza, outrageous prizes, and kid friendly entertainment to make this a party. Come share your resolution with us for motivation or come get advice from our sponsors on how to keep that resolution going strong all year long!

Boy and Girl Scouts and Scout leaders register early to receive a discounted fee! The Scout division is open to any boy or girl who is a member or leader of Scouts. Persons entering in this division will still compete against runners in their age group.

7AM to 8:45AM - Race day registration and packet pickup
8:30 AM - 5K Run Starts
8:40 AM - 1K Fun Run and Walk
9:00 AM - 10K Run Starts
10:45 AM - Course Closes
10:45 AM - Awards (or as soon as results are available)

Parking is available at the Addison Conference Centre. Overflow parking is available in the Addison Events district. Arrive early. Please pay attention to No Parking and Tow Away signs in Addison.

The top male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K for the following age groups will win unique awards: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+, and overall and masters male and female winners.

Parent/Child Division: The top combined time of the parent and child will qualify for awards. Each child finishing the 1K will receive a finisher medal.

The depth of awards will be determined by number of entries. 60+ age brackets will be 5 deep M/F.

Run-On Coppell: 680 N Denton Tap Rd

ChampionChip timing will be used. Chips will be available on race day, and they must be turned in after the race. Chips must be surrendered after the run or a fee will be charged. You must wear a chip to get a time. There is a $35 fee to replace lost chips. Awards are based on gun time.

Please keep in mind this is a charity event with all proceeds benefiting the arts in Addison (The Water Tower Theater, Shakespeare of Dallas, The Richardson Symphony, The Dallas Wind Symphony, and The Dance Council of Dallas) and the Addison Midday Rotary service projects, so remember to bring cash to participate in the Resolution Raffles.
