You must wear a ChampionChip to be eligible for awards for the 5k. Awards will be given to the following categories:

-1st Overall Male, Female, and Masters (40+)
-Top 3 Finishers in the following categories: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75+
-Top 3 Finishers among Mary Kay Independent Sales Force Members
-Top 3 Finishers among Mary Kay Employees

ChampionChip timing will be used at this event. Chips may be picked up on race day near registration with your race number. You must wear a chip to be timed and eligible for awards. Chips must be surrendered before leaving the finish area.

Throughout her life, Mary Kay Ash showed others how to live. And how to give. She gave hope to women who lacked opportunity and self-esteem, and financial support to the causes she believed in. Although her special light is no longer with us, her legacy of love continues through the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation, which she began in 1996. The mission of the MKACF is two-fold:

- Eliminating cancers affecting women by supporting top medical scientists who are searching for a cure for breast, uterine, cervical and ovarian cancers.
- Ending the epidemic of violence against women by providing grants to women's shelters and supporting community outreach programs.

Since its inception the Foundation has awarded more than $10 million in grants for research into cancers affecting women and $14 million in grants to women's shelters and other domestic violence organizations.
