Newtown 5k

The Course:
3.1 miles over residential streets, and is relatively flat. Splits at every mile. First aid and water on the course. Begins and ends at Moundview Park, 3130 Newtown Road.

Please Note: The road leading to the park will be closed at 9:45 a.m.
Plan accordingly.

Fun Run for Kids
Race to be held immediately following the 5K start.

Trophies to the top 10% of all divisions based on pre-registration. Special awards to overall male and female runner and walker, and first Newtown male and female.

Male and female runners divisions for the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Male and female walkers divisions for the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

A separate award will be given for corporate team competition. A corporate team sponsorship of $125 will cover a maximum of 7 runners.

Pre-registration is $20 postmarked by August 4, 2008 and includes a free commemorative T-shirt.

After August 4, 2008, the cost for race participation is $20 and T-shirts are $10.
