About the Event |
In March of 2007, our Lodge celebrated its 150th Anniversary; this marked the beginning of a renewed emphasis on our charitable responsibilities and community involvement.
There are approximately 50,000 children within the LISD; our goal is to help as many of them and their teachers as possible. We will be working hand in hand with the LISD to encourage the participation of the children, parents and teachers. We also wish to support and recognize the phenomenal efforts of the Texas Scottish Rite Children's Hospital, and their ability to help crippled and dyslexic
children, at no charge to the families.
As in years past we will partner with the area RunOn! stores, to gain the support from runners throughout the DFW Metroplex. We anticipate a large turnout, and hope that you will join us in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of our young people.
Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is one of the nation's leading pediatric centers for the treatment of orthopedic conditions, certain related neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia. There is no charge to patient families for treatment at the hospital, and admission is open to Texas children from birth to 18 years of age. For more information, to volunteer or to make a donation,
please call (214) 559-5000 or (800) 421-1121 or visit www.tsrhc.org.
