Directions to Lake Macbride |
Entrance to the park is on Highway 382 which runs west from Highway 1 in Solon IA, or west from the T intersection of County Road W6E south out of Ely.
Once in the park, follow the signs to the Shelter House parking lot. The lodge has been reserved and bathroom facilities (no showers) are available.

About the Course |
The event is at Lake Macbride State Park, with a scenic ground limestone trail that winds along the lake. There are some short stretches of asphalt and one significant hill, descending at about the 1/2 mile from the start.
This is a well-maintained and pretty trail, but not a fast course.

Awards and T-shirts |
Medals are given to the top (3) overall and places 1-3 for all age groups.
Age group awards are given in 10-year increments for male & female, in both the 10-mile and 4-mile runs.
Each participant receives an event t-shirt.

Post-Race Party |
Post-race party will be directly following the event. Refreshments and door prizes will be provided.
