Ages 7 and 8:
Swim 50 yards - Bike 1.5 miles - Run 1/4 Mile

Ages 9, 10, and 11:
Swim 100 yards - Bike 3 miles - Run 1/2 Mile

Ages 12, 13 and 14:
Swim 200 yards - Bike 5 miles - Run 1 Mile


The event will be chip-timed by Pickle Events.

USAT Membership is required for this event.

The Kids Triathlon is a sanctioned event. An annual youth membership in USA Triathlon ($5) is required for participation. Forms available at Packet Pickup on April 25th.

Saturday, April 26, 2008 (race morning) from 7:00 - 8:00 am

Please make every effort to pick up your packet on Friday at Gladstone Community Center.

Orientation Meeting:
All participants MUST attend a pre-race orientation with a parent or guardian. These will be held at 5:30 and 7:00 PM (at Packet Pick Up) and 8:30 AM on race morning.

DiLusso Deli "Top Your Own Sandwich, the Jennie-O Turkey Grilling Station, Hy-Vee Blue Ribbon Beef and Pork and other fun refreshments, snacks and goodies!

2008 Olympian, Jarrod Shoemaker, will be making a special appearance at the Kids Triathlon. In addition to autograph and photo opportunities, Jarrod will be announcing the Grand Prize and Runner Up Winners. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet this rising Triathlete star.
