BCEF is sponsoring this 5K event to support the Boone County Schools' social and emotional learning efforts, ensuring hope and well-being for all 21,000 students in the district. Funds are being raised to support programming and instruction that build grit, perseverance, resilience, mental wellness, and leadership in all students, as well as promote healthy life choices.

Enjoy a morning with family, friends and teachers in the community to support Boone County Schools. Bring the whole family to race like the thoroughbreds on Turfway Park's horse track! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be given in boys and girls categories.

[ulist][*]T-shirts will be sold the day of the race[*]Registration includes 5K participation and post-race party (food, drinks, music). Kona Ice will be available but not included in the race fee.[*]The 5K begins and ends ON the Turfway Park track with registration tables located in the paddock area.
