Our core purpose is to make a difference in the lives of people affected by melanoma and skin cancer by providing financial support, and research funding. We offer support to the survivors, fighters and to the families of the angels. We memorialize our loved ones and bring hope for a future with out melanoma.

Our event on the evening of Saturday, August 25th, 2018 has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to complete your first 5k or just get together with friends and family – this fun and well organized event is perfect for elite athletes, novices, and casual runners alike.

If running, walking or completing a 5K is not your cup tea we will have other activities available. You can check out the local food trucks, have your face painted, watch a balloon artist partake in a 50/50 raffle. The children will enjoy character entertainment as well as the multiple playgrounds.

Memorial park features a scenic shaded 1.1 mile paved trail, a large pavilion, and two playgrounds for children. In our best capacity we are try to save on the amount of trash generated from large events. ECCO water will be supplying water at the event so please bring a refillable water bottle. We will have Miles Against Melanoma refillable water bottles and cups for sale starting at $1.00 to $15.00.

Race day registration pick up starting at 3pm to 5:30pm.

3:00 PM: Check-in and packet pick up
5:00 PM: Kids Dash for children 12 and under (All participants must be registered) Kids Dash registration allows children to participate in both events.
5:30 PM: 5K Start
7:30 PM: Overall winners are announced, age group awards table opens
8:00 PM: Memorial walk begins.

Memorial park features a scenic shaded paved trail. There will be water provided on the course at the half-way point and at the finish line. Strollers are allowed on both the 5k and the 1 mile courses. If you are running/walking with a stroller, please line up towards the back. Dogs are welcome on the race course.
