"Broken Toe" is a trail run at scenic Stone State Park. The race is an almost 4 mile run for individuals and families to promote health, fitness, and appreciation of natural resources in Siouxland. A 2 mile 'alternate' route will also be available for walkers. Any proceeds from the race will benefit the Friends of Stone Park for park improvements. In the event of heavy rain, the race will be held on asphalt surface within the park. Routes will be announced the day of the race.

Schedule
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM - Registration/Check-in Stone Park Pammel Valley Picnic area
10:00 AM - Race/Walk Starts
11:15 AM - Awards Ceremony and Refreshments.

Early Packet Pick-Up
Early packet pickup will be available on Friday, Oct. 6th, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at SCHEELS. Packets may also be picked up the day of the race. (Please allow extra time to do so!)

Awards
There will be awards for the speedy and random drawings for the lucky. We will present awards for male and female overall winners and winners in 5 year age brackets.

Parking
There are limited parking spots in close proximity to the start/finish line. Please plan to arrive a little early. There will be volunteers directing you to the nearest parking area. Please do not park along the road unless you are completely on the shoulder area.

Weather
In the event of heavy rain, the race will take place on paved surfaces within the park.

All participants registering before Sept. 29th will receive a long sleeved shirt. Sorry, but we do not guarantee you will get a shirt unless you have registered prior to the event.

The mission statement of the Friends of Stone Park is to enhance recreational opportunities and natural resources of Stone State Park by increasing public awareness, raising funds, and volunteering their time.
