MEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization of citizens that share a vision of enhancing education in MISD. It works to increase private support for educational activities such as Innovative Teaching Grants, Teacher & Paraprofessional Scholarships, Student & Teacher Recognition Programs and more.

Rowdy Runners Club is an after school elementary running club in Midlothian ISD. Rowdy Runners hopes to encourage exercise and foster a love of running in as many students as possible. The Rowdy Run 5K is designed to promote the running club and raise funds to help Rowdy Runners participate in local runs.

Awards given for Males & Females in the following Grades: K-2nd. 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th-8th & 9th-12th.

Age Groups: Overall M & F, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.

All Middle School, High School and Adult 5K'ers who are "SPEEDY RUNNERS" will be asked to "STEP TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE", for the safety of the children, parents, grandparents and non-competitive runners.

There will be 2 different race starts. "Speedy Runners" first followed by elementary non-competitive runners second. 5K times are based on the chip; therefore, your time will not start until you cross the start line.

Anyone registering for this event by Sunday, April 10, 2016, is guaranteed a dry-fit t-shirt. Anyone registering after that date, t-shirts are on a first-come, first-serve basis on race day.

This is a residential area, so please take care not to block driveways and allow time to walk to the starting line. Please see the parking map in your packet.

Packets will be sent home the week of the race from the elementary campus that you selected or you may pick up your packet at the MEF Office, 100 Walter Stephenson or McClatchey Elementary on Friday, April 21st from 8am - 6pm. Packets not picked up will be available on race day from 7:15 - 8:15 a.m.

If you registered during Late Registration. Your race packet will be available for pick up on race day at the Rowdy Run from 7:15 - 8:15 a.m.
