Dallas Academy's mission is to restore the promise of full academic enrichment to students with learning differences. A meaningful connection with each student is established to overcome barriers to success. Dallas Academy offers students in grades 1-12 the best of both worlds by providing an effective program and strategies to meet the special educational needs of bright students with learning differences, while including the activities of a larger, more traditional school.

All of the net proceeds of the DAwg Run will benefit the students of Dallas Academy through scholarships and student services.

Morning activities will take place on Dallas Academy's campus and the 1 mile fun run and 5K will take place along the edge of White Rock Lake beginning at the Stone Tables.

Parking is available at St. John's Episcopal School located at 848 Harter Road. Dallas Academy will provide a shuttle service to and from campus beginning at 7:00 a.m. on race morning.

Event Schedule:
7:00 am: Race day registration & late packet pick up begins
8:00 am: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk start time
8:30 am: Carnival games and activities open
8:45 am: 5K start time
9:30 am: Awards ceremony

Top overall finisher and top three finishers (all by gender) 0-12, 13-19, 20-35, 36-50, 51+ in 5K race

Electronic Tag Timing
Electronic tag timing will be used at this event. Age group awards will be determined by tag time. You must wear a tag to be timed and eligible for awards.
