Register for this year's Dr. Robert J Dennington Memorial Run "Rock the Doc 5k"! The event will be held on September 17th at Little Elm Park. This family-fun event will have a 1-mile kid's run at 8:00 am, and a 5k walk/run beginning at 8:30 am.

Roc the Doc honors Dr. Robert J. Dennington, the highly regarded orthodontist. A longtime Little Elm Resident, Doc was an esteemed community leader who served on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and was the first orthodontist in the town. He passed away from complications of lymphoma on September 23, 2008. This race celebrates our beloved Doc and all that he represented in the community.

The first 400 pre-registered runners will get a free t-shirt (sponsors name on back)

Top 3 males and top 3 females in the 5K will receive an award. Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female in the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+.

All participants will receive a participation award when completing the 1 mile Kids Run.

• From Denton Take US-377N to US-380E. Turn right onto FM720E. Park will be about 5.7 miles down on the left. Turn onto Little Elm Pkwy, then left onto E Eldorado Pkwy.
  
• From Frisco Head west on E. Eldorado Parkway from the Dallas North Tollway. Park will be 7 miles on the right. [*]From Lewisville Take I-35 E North to exit 458 toward Farm to Market Rd 2181/Swisher Rd. Merge onto I-35 frontage road / South Stemmons Fwy. Turn Right onto Swisher Rd. Park will be 6.5 miles down on the left.
