Chip Timing |
ChampionChips will be used at this event. Chips may be picked up on race day near registration with your race number. You must wear a chip to be timed and eligible for awards. Chips must be surrendered before leaving the finish line.

Family Fun |
Join us in celebrating the color and spectacle of Mardi Gras in a fun, family atmosphere as you support homeless children in North Texas through Captain Hope's Kids. Looking for other ways to help homeless children? Visit our website: www.captainhope.org.

Beads, Beads, Beads |
Mardi Gras beads will be tossed throughout the event. Whether you are walking, running or cheering you will have the chance to catch these souvenirs.

Food and Music |
Enjoy the band! This is the only race where you can dine on red beans and rice and other usual Mardi Gras libations.

T-Shirts |
We guarantee official Mardi Gras Run t-shirts to all pre-registered individuals.

Awards |
Mardi Gras trophies will be awarded to the top male and female, the top masters male and female and the top three finishers in the following age groups in both races: 12 and under, 13 - 15, 16 - 19, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 - 74, 75+.

Come out in your best Mardi Gras costume or mask. Prizes will be awarded to the most creative and festive costume.

Captain Hope's Kids |
Each night there are an estimated 1,000 children homeless in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
Captain Hope's Kids has been meeting the needs of children in area homeless shelters for the past 17 years and we need your help to keep up with the increased numbers. We distribute over 30,000 diapers, training pants, wipes, et cetera each month.
Due to the recent hurricane disasters we really need your help!
Please bring a package of DIAPERS to the run!
