PLEASE NOTE:
Packet pickup for pre-registered runners who register online or via mail, should pickup packets at the store they specified during registration. This will include a t-shirt, Germanfest entry pass and drink voucher, bib number and timing tag.

Automated timing will be used at this event.

Disposable D-Tags may be picked up with your packet on race day, at registration (KC Hall), with your race number. You must wear a d-tag to be timed and eligible for awards. Age group awards will be determined by chip time.

Top 3 Overall and Top 3 Master male and female finishers

Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards. No duplicate awards given.

Winners will be announced and awards presented beginning at 2:30pm at the reserved area on the Germanfest Grounds.

YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE AWARDS - AWARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED.

The 5k and 15k courses are run over paved roads in the rolling hills north of Muenster. It is fast, scenic and challenging. (For PDF map of route, click here.)

First 1,000 particpants will receive a FREE T-Shirt (Please pre-register to get your correct size shirt), a FREE PASS into the Germanfest Grounds (Sunday Only), and TWO FREE DRINK TICKETS for beer, Powerade or soft drinks - redeemable on the Germanfest Grounds (until 5pm -Sunday Only). The Germanfest Fun Run staff will not be responsible for mailing T-shirts to runners who fail to run or pick up their shirts on race day.

Runners are given a pass to the Germanfest grounds, where they can participate in all Germanfest activities, and each runner will receive two FREE Tickets for beer, Powerade or soft drinks.

Rest stops will be placed approximately 3 miles apart. Water, fruit and other liquids will be available. Medical aid will be provided along the route and at the finish. If at any point, our medical personnel determines that you should not continue, you will be detained and/or returned to the start by a sag wagon. Fill out your race number bib so you can be identified in case of emergency.

The Muenster Memorial Hospital and local doctors and nurses will be available to assist with any complications. Emergency ambulance service and qualified paramedics will also be available.

Any profits from the races are channeled through the Muenster
Knights of Columbus to various charitable organizations in Cooke County.
