Overview |
Pinnacle Bank and the Lincoln Track Club invite you to run in the 38th Annual Havelock Charity Run. Runners may enter either the 10k or 3k races, both of which start in front of Pinnacle Bank at 6145 Havelock Avenue.
Both races finish in Havelock Park, where there will be fruit, bagels, and drinks for all to enjoy. All early entrants will receive a T-shirt and a prize.
The Pinnacle Bank Team Challenge |
Either race may be entered as an individual or as part of a four to seven person team. Teams will designate a charity (from the list provided), and if at least four members finish the race, Pinnacle Bank will donate $50 to that charity. If your team runs faster than the Pinnacle Bank Team (comprised of Pinnacle Bank employees) in your race, Pinnacle will donate $75. It's a great way to partner with Pinnacle Bank to help make our local charitable organizations stronger!
This year we will also be giving out stickers for team members to wear on their backs during the race that identify which charity they are running for!
How to Enter |
Entry registration is done online by clicking on the link at the top of this page. Entry fee is $20 for both races and $10 for competitors ages 13-19. Online registration for teams is open until 11:59 AM CDT on June 1. Individuals may also complete a late registration at the Friday early packet pickup location for $30. (Cash and checks are accepted for late registration, credit/debit cards are not.
There is no guarantee that late entrants will receive a T-shirt.)

Parking |
We suggest parking south of Havelock Avenue and west of 63rd Street. Parking is also available at the Goodyear Recreation Center, 6224 Logan. Please do not park on Havelock Avenue east of 60th Street or on 63rd Street south of Havelock Avenue.
Avoid the parking lots of businesses that are open on race day.
Additional Comments |
While all participants should know the course, it is particularly important for slower participants (13:44/mile pace or slower) since course volunteers will leave 1-1/2 hours after the start of the race. Slower participants will be allowed to finish but may be asked to move off the street and to the sidewalk for their own safety.
The finish line might be disassembled and no guarantees if there will be any food left.
The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, the Havelock Charity Run encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of either the 10K or 3K races.
It is not permissible for runners or walkers to be accompanied by dogs, leashed or unleashed, in either race.
Teams must choose from the charities listed on the menu online; no exceptions will be allowed.
